t is an honor to be elected and serve for the next year as the first president on the Board of Directors of our newly formed non-profit organization, Honoring Choices North Dakota (HCND). As HCND embarks upon its vision, mission and goals, I hope you share my pride in the efforts HCND plans to accomplish in moving forward.
This is a very exciting time for North Dakota and advance care planning. We are committed to remaining diligent in our efforts to work together to raise funds to offer educational programs that will inspire and stimulate advance care planning efforts.
HCND is reaching out to prospective members and engaging those who bring a wealth of knowledge to our organization. We encourage members to share their views, experiences and/or expertise with HCND as workgroups and committees are established.
I want to commit to you that the HCND Board of Directors is here to represent you and your organization. We can’t do this without your support and without your input. Our leadership will focus our strategic planning efforts to ensure that our impact will continue to meet both our community and members’ growing and ever evolving needs.
Thank you for your continued support of HCND. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board of Directors for all their assistance, commitment, and personal investment in the work of this organization. I look forward to working with the members of the 2015-2016 board as we continue to bring the highest level of volunteer service to North Dakota!
